This Monday, I received a call from Umeå University. They said I was offered a reserve at the Architectural education. It almost feels unreal, I'm incredibly happy about the decision and I will now begin the education on Monday 9th September. It also means that I will not have time for my knife making, during the summer I started to make some knives that I have not done completely. What is missing is mainly the sheaths but I get to finish these during the holidays. Right now I can only think of the education that will lead me to my dream job. I'm a little nervous but hopefully it should be fine. I am now looking for accommodation in Umeå.

Hi I have not been able to craft any knives lately due to studies in school and preparations for University. My plans for the future is to become an Architect. I will try to apply for an Architectural education this spring in Sweden. There are however a few Universities in Scotland that offers architectural education in which i am very interested in. I will probably apply for these in Autumn 2013. Not sure how the application process works in Scotland, i have to ask someone. As I said my main focus these months will be solely on getting into University, no matter the cost. Best Regards

Hi everyone! I have recently returned from Gothenburg and Ullared where I visited the Swedish Championship in Knifemaking 2012. I competed with six Knifes in three different classes, the results could have been better now I know I have to improve! Tomorrow I will start making som more knives, first I intend to make two more "simpler" knifes with a new design later some more exclusive Knifes. I have to work fast because the winter is coming and its to cold to crafts knives in my workshop.
